Cookie Policy

What we store in your browser, why, and how to reject or remove it. You can decline every optional cookie and this website will work exactly as it does now.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, including local storage, work the same way. They let a website remember a preference between visits, or measure how a page is used. They cannot read other files on your device and cannot run programs.

2. Your choice

When you first arrive, a small notice appears in the bottom corner of the screen. It does not block the page and it does not cover the content. You can Accept all or Reject optional. Rejecting is a single click, and nothing on this website is withheld from you as a result. Your choice is stored in your own browser under the key prism-cookie-consent and is not transmitted to us.

3. What we use

NameTypePurposeDuration
prism-cookie-consentStrictly necessaryRemembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies so we do not ask againUntil you clear browser storage
Session identifierStrictly necessaryKeeps the connection working and protects against abuseSession only
Analytics (aggregate)Optional — consentCounts page views and referral sources in aggregate so we know which reviews are read. IP addresses are anonymisedUp to 14 months

4. What we do not use

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, cross-domain tracking, social media tracking widgets, fingerprinting, or any technology that builds a marketing profile of you. No third party is permitted to set an advertising cookie through this website.

5. Third-party cookies

We load our typefaces from Google Fonts, which serves the font files themselves and does not set advertising cookies for that request. If you follow an outbound link to a gambling operator or a support organisation, that third party may set its own cookies under its own policy, which we do not control and which this policy does not cover.

6. Changing your mind

To withdraw consent, clear the cookies and stored data for this website in your browser settings. The notice will reappear on your next visit and you can choose again. You can also block or delete cookies at any time in the settings of Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox or any other modern browser, and most browsers offer a private browsing mode that discards everything when the window closes.

7. If storage is unavailable

If your browser blocks local storage entirely, the notice may appear on each visit because we have nowhere to record your choice. That is a limitation of the privacy setting you have chosen, not an attempt to keep asking.
