Advertising Disclosure
In plain English: some links on this website earn us money. Here is exactly how that works, and exactly what it does not change.
Short version. When you open an account with an operator through a link on this website, that operator may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra, it changes nothing about the offer you receive, and it does not buy a higher score or a better position in our table.
1. How we are funded
PrismReview is free to read and carries no display advertising. We are funded through affiliate partnerships with the operators we review. If you follow a commercial link from this website, open an account and meet the operator's qualifying conditions, the operator may pay us a commission or a share of revenue. This is standard practice across UK comparison publishing, and we would rather state it clearly on its own page than bury it in a footer.
2. What commission does not buy
- It does not buy a score. Scores come from the published five-pillar rubric applied by the editorial desk. No operator sees a score before publication and no operator can request a change to one.
- It does not buy a position. Our comparison table is ordered by score, not by commission rate.
- It does not buy silence. Every review on this website lists what the brand does badly as well as what it does well, including at brands we have a commercial relationship with.
- It does not buy a listing. A brand that is not licensed by the UK Gambling Commission cannot be published here at any price.
- It does not cost you anything. Commission is paid by the operator out of its own marketing budget. Your terms, your offer and your account are identical whether you arrive through our link or type the address yourself.
3. How commercial links are marked
Every outbound commercial link on this website carries the rel="sponsored nofollow" attribute in its markup, in line with search engine guidance on paid links. On review pages, the disclosure appears directly beneath the visit button rather than at the bottom of the page. You can always reach any operator directly by typing its address into your browser.
4. Editorial independence
Editorial and commercial responsibilities are separated. Testing is carried out and scored before any commercial discussion takes place, and the rubric weightings are fixed and published on our About Us page. If a commercial partner asks us to change a review, we say no and, if the request is inappropriate, we say so in the review.
5. Accuracy of offers
Bonus terms, wagering requirements, payment methods and payout timings shown on this website are recorded at the time of testing and re-checked on a published schedule. Operators can change them without telling us. The operator's own terms always take precedence over anything written here, so read them before depositing.
6. Trade marks
Operator names and logos shown on this website remain the property of their respective owners and are reproduced solely to identify the brand being reviewed and to permit honest comparison. Their presence does not imply endorsement by, sponsorship of, or affiliation with those owners beyond the commercial arrangements described on this page. Rights holders with a concern should contact editorial@prismreview.co.uk.
7. No affiliation with regulators or charities
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of the UK Gambling Commission, GAMSTOP, GamCare, BeGambleAware or Gamblers Anonymous. Those organisations are linked because they are useful to readers, and we receive nothing for linking to them.
8. Questions
If anything about our commercial arrangements is unclear, ask. Email editorial@prismreview.co.uk and we will answer honestly.
